Community Celebration Fête

Harlow Museum & Walled Gardens hosted a Community Fete on the 2nd of September 2023. It was a great opportunity for people to come together, enjoy themselves, bump into old friends, find out about local organisations and listen to some music and so much more.

Over 500 people celebrated, coming together to enjoy the sunshine, time with friends and discover some of the many community groups Harlow has to offer. The day featured over 30 community stalls including Matipo Arts, Parndon Mill Studios, Parkinson’s UK, Harlow Civic Society, Harlow Heritage Society and many more. Plus Pets’ Corner presented two beautiful owls to showcase just some of their diverse animals. Live music could be heard throughout the day, from a DJ set, featuring local bands, to other performers – ending with a set from the Harlow Brass Band.
