By train
There are two train stations in Harlow – Harlow Mill and Harlow New Town. The closest station to the museum is Harlow Mill.
By tube
The closest tube station is Epping, on the central line, but a bus will need to be taken for the rest of the way.
By bus
The nearest bus stop is on First Avenue. Bus services available on this route are as follows: 59, 508, 509 and 510.
Other useful information
Parking
We have a free car park with plenty of spaces. Bicycles can be stored on cycle racks within the museum’s courtyard.
Facilities
There are toilets, including an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.
Explorer kits are available for kids to use around the museum and gardens.
There is shop with a great selection of local history books, postcards and souvenirs for all ages.
Accessibility
The museum and the gardens are both suitable for wheelchair visitors, however please note that some pathways in the gardens are shingle surfaced.
